The Role:

Manage and organize the supervision of both pupils and staff in the exclusion room.

Visit students in their lessons to address any behaviour-related issues.

Ensure appropriate work is available for students in the exclusion room.

Maintain accurate behaviour records through SIMS and other relevant systems.

Uphold high standards of pupil behaviour in the exclusion room.

Implement strategies to support the re-integration of students back into classroom lessons after removal.

Provide necessary support to students with their work.

Assist with school impositions and their follow-up as required.

Liaise with parents and caregivers regarding exclusions and general behaviour matters.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a school environment.

Strong organizational and supervisory skills.

Ability to maintain accurate records using systems like SIMS.

Commitment to upholding high standards of student behaviour.

Proactive approach to supporting student re-integration into classroom lessons.

Effective communication skills with students, staff, and parents/caregivers.

 

Rate dependant on qualifications and experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
