Youth Worker

Protocol Education are excited to take on a host of expeirenced Youth Workers for a variety of ofsted outstanding Primary Schools in Swindon, to help foster support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 children to start in December.

The schools are well-established academies, that pride themselves on their inclusive and nurturing environment, where every child is supported to achieve their full potential. We are now seeking passionate and experienced Youth Workers to join their dedicated team. This is an fantastic opportunity to make a significant difference on the wellbeing of our students and to be part of a forward-thinking school community.

Start-Date: December 2024

Closing Date: Friday 1st November 2024

 

Hours: 08:30 - 15:30 Monday - Friday (Part-Time roles available)

Location: Swindon, SN1 and other surrounding areas

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the educational and emotional development of children in EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers and school staff to implement individual and group support plans.
  • Foster strong relationships with students to encourage their social and academic growth.
  • Adapt your youth work skills to meet the needs of primary-aged children.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people in a youth work or similar setting.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to supporting the development of young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow in a new environment.
