 Full-Time Year 5 Maternity Teacher - Uxbridge

Are you a passionate and experienced teacher with a flair for Upper Key Stage 2? We are looking for a dedicated and qualified teacher to join our vibrant school in Uxbridge, covering a maternity leave for a Year 5 class. This is a full-time, temporary position, starting immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for the Year 5 class, including planning, teaching, and assessment.
  • Manage and track student progress, providing regular feedback and reports.
  • Marking work and setting appropriate homework.
  • Implementing effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Collaborating with staff and parents to support student development and well-being.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have proven experience teaching in Upper KS2 (Year 5 or Year 6).
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
  • Be able to plan, assess, and differentiate lessons effectively.
  • Have a genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
