Year 5 Teacher
Role: KS2 Teacher
Location: Spalding, Lincolnshire
Salary: £130 to 180 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: 8:30 to 16:00
Start Date: September 2024
An Ofsted 'Good' school in the Spalding area are looking to appoint a Year 5 Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons to one of their Year 5 classes. This post is permanent, with a vision for the right candidate to transfer as a permanent member of their team. The role includes planning lessons, monitoring progress of students, creating and marking assessments, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Create an inclusive, nurturing and supportive environment for all children, including those with special educational needs and English as an additional language.
- Deliver exciting, challenging and stimulating lessons for KS2, which follow the national curriculum.
- Assess learning and where appropriate, plan lessons which meet the requirements of the national curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement effective teaching strategies.
Ideal Candidates will have:
- Clear and current DBS on the update service or the willingness to apply for one
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience working in Key Stage Two
- A passion for the learning of children
- Excellent understanding of the national curriculum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
