Role: SEND Support

Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire

Salary: £83 - 93 per day (dependent on experience)

Type: Full-Time

Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm

 

Protocol Education are looking for experienced SEND Learning Support staff to work within a school in Grantham. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with and experienced working in supporting pupil's social, emotional, and mental health. This particular pupil is in Year 4 but working at EYFS/Year 1 level. This is an excellent oppurtunity for an indiviudal with SEND experience who would like to further their knowledge.

We are looking for someone who provides a happy and inspirational environment for all, aiding children achieve to the best of their ability, promote their learning and development and someone who can thrive in a creative environment.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Working with small groups and 1:1 time with SEN children.
  • Helping and encouraging children with academic tasks.
  • Great behavioural management and communication skills.
  • Using resources to help students understand and engage in lessons.

 

Key Requirements

  • Relevant qualifactions are desired but not essential. 
  • A positive and can-do attitude to provide the best care for our SEN pupils.
  • You will enjoy working as part of a team and collaborating with other teachers.
  • Quickly able to adapt and change as necessary in the classroom.
  • Previous SEND experience.
  • Hold a valid DBS on the update service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
