Overview:

Are you a resilient and dynamic teacher ready to tackle a rewarding challenge? We are seeking a dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Chessington. This role involves working with a particularly energetic and diverse group of students who will benefit greatly from a passionate educator capable of bringing out their best.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and inspiring lessons tailored to the needs of Year 4 students

  • Implementing effective classroom management strategies to maintain a productive learning environment

  • Developing and differentiating lesson plans to accommodate a range of abilities and learning styles

  • Providing targeted support to help students overcome academic and behavioral challenges

  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and support staff to foster a holistic approach to student development

  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback, and setting achievable goals

  • Contributing to the school's extracurricular activities and community events

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Proven experience in primary education, preferably with challenging classes

  • Exceptional classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and engage students

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and parent engagement

  • A positive attitude, resilience, and a genuine passion for teaching and making a difference

  • Creativity and adaptability to develop innovative teaching methods
