Protocol Education are currently supporting a Special Needs school in Slough to appoint a year 3 SEN Teacher. This school is part of a Multi-academy leading to excellent support and funding.
Currently supporting 28 pupils aged between 4-11 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The school is also funded for 10 Alternative Provision (AP) places for Slough primary aged pupils who are at risk of exclusion from a mainstream primary school.
They aim to empower pupils with self-confidence, developing their ability to respect others and themselves. This empowerment will help pupils learn to manage their emotional and behavioural difficulties in a range of settings and situations.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced SEND Teacher to join our team on a full-time, temporary basis, based in Slough. In this role, you will provide personalised support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the highest quality learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging, tailored lessons to meet the specific needs of SEND students
- Developing and implementing customised learning plans and strategies
- Collaborating with support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure a well-rounded approach to student development
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed
- Creating a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes both academic success and student well-being

- A qualified Teacher with experience working with SEND students
- Strong skills in classroom and behaviour management
- The ability to tailor teaching techniques to meet the diverse needs of students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
