Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 3 students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching resources
- Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Enhanced DBS check
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of child development and learning styles
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Effective classroom management skills
- Proficiency in using educational technology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Experience working with Year 3 students
- Specialist training in literacy or numeracy
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a primary school setting, following the school calendar and daily schedule. Regular interaction with students, parents, and colleagues is required. The successful candidate may also be expected to participate in extracurricular activities and school events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
