We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Qualified Teacher on behalf of a Primary School within Colchester. This role is for a Year 1 Supply Teacher within this role, covering PPA and more! This is a flexible role and can be full or part time. It is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers to expand on current knowledge, whilst making a change to a young persons life and having a solid work to life balance in control of their working hours.

An inspirational role model is a desirable trait for this role, working alongside both teachers and the wider school community to establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering engaging lessons planned by teachers, promoting learning and development.
  • Supporting pupils within their learning.
  • Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children to thrive.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Promote positive behaviour  management strategies.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 
  • Previous experience teaching in Primary is essential. 
  • Positive approach to child development and classroom management.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Demonstrates patience and calmness at all times.
  • An empathetic and inspirational attitude with a genuine passion for supporting the development of children.
