You don't need a teaching qualification—just relevant experience working with young people, a confident approach to classroom management, and a passion for education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Supervision: Manage large secondary classes and ensure smooth lesson delivery using pre-set lesson plans.
  • Behavior Management: Maintain a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment.
  • Lesson Support: Work across various year groups and departments, supporting students and fostering engagement.
  • Lesson Coverage: Deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain learning continuity in the Teacher's absence.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Recent and relevant experience working with young people (Education, Coaching, or care settings preferred)
  • Degree Educated (essential)
  • Passionate about working in Education and supporting children
  • strong behavior management skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • punctual, flexible, and reliable
  • must have DBS or willing to apply for one
