Job Duties:

  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
  • Assisting the qualified teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Providing one-to-one support for students with SEN
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience working with children or young people

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of Special Educational Needs and how to support students with SEN
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good communication and listening skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • we provide Training in supporting students with Autism, ADHD, or other specific needs

Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
