Unqualified English Teacher for SEMH School 

Location: Clacton-on-Sea

Salary: £120 - £200 Per day

Students aged between 11-16, Teaching up to GCSE Level

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students aged 11-16, focusing on up to GCSE Level curriculum.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in school events and meetings as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • A passion for education and supporting the academic growth of students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Education:

  • A degree in English or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential.

Experience:

  • Prior experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of the UK education system and curriculum up to GCSE Level.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students with SEMH challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training or qualifications in special educational needs (SEN) support.
