Job Title: Full-time Technology Teacher
Location: Lambeth
Salary: £1000-£1150 per week
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Technology Teacher to join our dynamic team at a reputable secondary school located in Lambeth. This is a full-time role, offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher to engage, inspire, and educate our students while enjoying a great work-life balance.
The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching Technology subjects and the ability to create a stimulating learning environment.
The Technology Department currently offers the following courses with the view to expanding Product Design and Textiles through to KS5:
- KS3 Product Design, Textiles, Food (All on a carousel)
-KS4 GCSE Textiles
- KS4 GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition
-KS5 Level 3 Food Science
- Specialism in product design/resistant materials is highly recommended.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Specialism or strong subject knowledge in Technology, Design, or related fields.
- Experience teaching Technology subjects at Key Stages 3 and 4.
-Knowledge of the National Curriculum for Technology and its assessment framework.
-Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
-Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Technology subjects that promote student engagement and achievement.
