Team Teach SEN Support

Location: LN6

Role: SEN Support

Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm

Salary: Starting day rate of £83.85 per day, negiotable depending on experience

 

Job Duties:

The Team Teach SEN Support role involves providing support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within an educational setting. Duties include assisting SEN students with their academic work, implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and supporting classroom teachers in managing behaviour and learning challenges. The role also involves working closely with the SENCO and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

 

Required Qualifications:

- Relevant experience in working with SEN students

- Team Teach certification

- Understanding of SEN support strategies

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

 

Education:

- Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Education or related field

 

Experience:

- Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting

 

Knowledge and Skills:

- Knowledge of SEN support techniques

- Ability to work effectively in a team

- Strong organisational skills

- Patience and empathy when working with SEN students

 

Preferred Qualifications:

- Additional training in SEN support

- Teaching Assistant qualification
