Protocol Education is hiring a Teaching Assistant SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)

Responsibilities:

  • Helping the teacher implementation of activities and lesson plans
  • Providing support to individuals or groups of students in various subjects
  • Helping students with special educational needs (SEN) and editing materials to meet needs of individuals.
  • Supervising students at all times
  • Creating a unified and positive learning environment
  • Helping teachers assess student progress

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or in an educational setting
  • Passionate about helping students and individuals with SEN (special educational needs)
  • Strong team working skills
  • Minimum of a high school diploma; a relevant qualification in education or child development is an advantage.

Teaching experience is desired but not always essential as a lot of other roles have transferable skills.
