Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the school’s team on a full-time basis, Monday – Friday 8.45-4.15PM. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, contributing to their academic and personal development. Training sessions are held on Fridays, and the school are committed to investing in your professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students with special educational needs, both in the classroom and during extracurricular activities.
- Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Support he class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of the students.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and included.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
- Attend training sessions on Fridays to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with special educational needs.
Requirements:
- Well presented, flexible and reliable individual with a desire to support students with special educational needs.
- Ambitious and motivated with a willingness to learn and succeed in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues and parents.
- Commitment to work all five days 8.45-16.15

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
