We are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work within our schools wihtin Witham. We are working on behalf of schools in and around Witham to help supply experienced, reliable and passionate support staff.
You will be working as part of a friendly team, supporting young children within their learning and development. This is a highly rewarding but challenging role, the ideal candiadte will be extremely passionate and posses the ability to communicate well with the children and colleagues.
You will be working with Primary School aged children, ranging from EYFS all the way up to Key Stage 2.
You will need:
- Experience working within childcare of a variety of ages.
- Experience with working with SEN children, including Autism, ADHD, Behavioural needs and additonal learning needs.
- Genuine passion for working with children.
- Excellent communication both written and verbally.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working alongside the children, supporting their learning and encouraging their development.
- Liaising with colleagues, parents and carers.
- Ensuring accurate records are maintained and kept.
- Assiting children in their school day.
- Supporting the teacher with tasks.
- Supporting children on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
