Job Duties:

  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
  • Assisting the classroom teacher in planning and delivering lessons tailored to individual student needs
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN to help them achieve their learning goals
  • Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with students with Special Educational Needs

Experience:

Prior experience working with students with Special Educational Needs

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support students with SEN
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Additional training in specific areas of SEN support

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position with Full-Time hours
  • Work within a school environment, supporting students with SEN
  • Collaboration with classroom teachers and SEN coordinators

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
