Position: Primary Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
  • Assist with classroom management and creating a positive learning environment.
  • Work with small groups of children or on a 1:1 basis to provide additional support.
  • Help children with their social and emotional development.
  • Assist with the preparation of resources and materials for lessons.
  • Provide feedback on students’ progress and contribute to assessments.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all children.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A genuine passion for supporting children and their education.
  • Previous experience working with children in a classroom setting (desirable but not essential).
  • A commitment to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, patient, and empathetic attitude.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent) would be advantageous.
