We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to join an alternative provision based within a secondary school in Hartlepool. This role is ideal for someone with experience in alternative education who thrives in a supportive and structured environment, working with KS3/KS4 students with SEMH and behavioural needs.
Requirements:
✅ MUST have experience in alternative education (Alt Ed).
✅ MUST have experience supporting KS3/KS4 students with SEMH and behavioural needs.
✅ MUST hold a Child-Only DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service.
The Role:
Provide tailored support to students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Assist in managing behaviour and promoting engagement in learning.
Work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment.
Support students both in class and during interventions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
