Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering lessons
  • Assisting students with classroom tasks and activities
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties
  • Helping to create educational materials and resources
  • Supervising students during break times and outings

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Relevant teaching assistant qualification
  • DBS check

Education:

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
  • Additional qualifications in education or childcare preferred

Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a school or educational setting
  • Experience working with children or young people

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and learning processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Basic IT skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Higher level teaching assistant qualification
  • First aid certification

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
