Support Pupils with SEMH Needs – Flexible Teaching Assistant Role
Are you passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs? Join Protocol Education as an SEMH Teaching Assistant and make a real difference to students' lives across a variety of schools and alternative provisions. This flexible role suits compassionate individuals who are happy to travel up to 1 hour to where support is needed.
What You'll Do:

Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils who need emotional and behavioural support.

Support children in managing anxiety, emotional regulation, and behaviour.

Work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to maintain a safe and inclusive environment.
What We’re Looking For:

Someone patient, understanding, and confident in working with challenging behaviour.

Flexibility to travel up to one hour for work.

A DBS on the Update Service and the legal right to work in the UK.

Previous experience in SEMH, youth work, or mentoring is highly valued.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
