About the Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant Role

As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and well-structured lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with students to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Provide additional help to children who may require extra support, ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.
  • Work collaboratively with the classroom team to foster an inclusive and positive atmosphere for all learners.
