Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Assist individual pupils or small groups to ensure they understand tasks and stay engaged in learning activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence.
- Help prepare teaching materials and classroom resources to enhance the learning experience.
- Monitor and document pupil progress, providing feedback to the teacher as needed.
- Support pupils with additional needs, adapting approaches to suit their individual requirements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with young learners and helping them achieve their potential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
