We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join our team in Harrow. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact in a classroom setting by providing essential support to both teachers and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and support students with their learning.
- Work with individual students and small groups, providing additional assistance to ensure all students achieve their potential.
- Help maintain a positive and productive classroom environment by supporting behaviour management and organisation.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEND) as needed.
- Assist in preparing resources, setting up activities, and supporting classroom routines.
Requirements:
- A caring and patient attitude, with a commitment to supporting children’s learning and well-being.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Prior experience working with children in an educational or care setting is beneficial.
- Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a positive approach to working in a school environment.
