Protocol are partnered wirh a local authority maintained Nursery school in West Midlands, Wolverhampton. The school focuses on providing high standards of early education for young children and has been rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted at the last five inspections.

Job Duties:

  • Assist the teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Support individual and small groups of children with their learning activities
  • Help maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment
  • Contribute to the observation and assessment of children's progress
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's development

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Valid Safeguarding training

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role within an educational setting
  • Good understanding of child development and early education principles
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First Aid certification
  • Additional training in special educational needs

Working Conditions:

The role of Teaching Assistant at the Nursery School may involve working with children aged 2 to 4 years old in both indoor and outdoor environments. The position requires full-time hours on a contract basis, with a competitive hourly salary.
