Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide personalised support to students, both individually and in small groups.
- Empower students with special educational needs (SEN) by ensuring their access to the curriculum.
- Assist in preparing classroom materials and managing resources efficiently.
- Supervise students during break times, field trips, and other school activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth.
- Provide administrative support to teachers and school staff as needed.
Person Specification:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Passion for education and supporting young learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective team player with strong collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
