Company Branding: Protocol Education are working with a school where the staff and children are proud of their Early Years Foundation Stage. The Early Years Unit has both Nursery and Reception in the same space but are taught separately to ensure progression and age-appropriate learning.

Job Duties:

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons for nursery and reception children
  • Support children's learning and development through various activities
  • Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide one-on-one support to children with additional needs
  • Help with administrative tasks related to the Early Years Unit

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • First Aid certification

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience working with nursery and/or reception age children
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy when working with children

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a school setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
