Primary Teaching Assistant

We have both full time and part time roles available and can tailor your working pattern to suit your needs!
Responsibilities:
- Support class teacher in the identification of Special Educational Needs, and plan and implement strategies to support this.
- Provide 1:1 support, where necessary, to children with additional needs such as SEND or EAL.
- Deliver small group activities to consolidate learning and further challenge the learning of pupils.
- Work with small groups during lesson time to ensure that they are following lesson material and are challenged by the content.
- Support colleagues in the creation of a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
- Promote positive behaviour following school policies.
Ideal Candidates will have:
- Clear and current DBS on the update service or be able to apply for this
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience and passion for working with children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
