Job Duties:

  • Supporting classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans
  • Assisting with student supervision and behaviour management
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with learning needs
  • Preparing and organising educational materials
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as required

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or experience

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of classroom dynamics and behaviour management techniques
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Higher level Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily in classroom settings
  • Full-Time hours with occasional requirement for additional hours
  • Interacting with students, teachers, and parents on a daily basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
