Position Overview:

We're in search of dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll collaborate closely with teachers to support students' academic and personal growth. This role is your chance to make a meaningful difference in young learners' lives and contribute to building a nurturing, inclusive educational community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and implementing educational activities.
  • Provide personalized support to students needing extra assistance.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters learning.
  • Help prepare teaching materials and resources.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with colleagues to assess student progress and development.

Requirements:

  • Preferred experience working with children or young adults in educational settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate, patient approach, with a genuine commitment to student learning.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in meeting diverse student needs.
  • Commitment to upholding safeguarding and child protection policies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
