Protocol Education are recruiting for staff who can carry out Literacy Interventions in South Yorkshire Primary Schools. Literacy is a huge focus in schools, and catch up sessions and one to one and group support required.
Do you have good subject knowledge and qualifications in English? Would you like to work with children to help raise attainment? We want to hear from tutors and graduates who have worked with children, as well as teachers and teaching assistants who are interested in carrying out one to one work and taking small groups across primary schools.
The role;
You will be working to increase pupil's attainment in line with school expectations. You may be working one to one or with small groups with children of all primary ages, levels and abilities. You may work with pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds or who have special needs and so will need to use different strategies to help different pupils learn. You will work closely with other school staff and teachers, working in line and supporting the existing teaching, tracking and reviewing progress throughout.
Suitable applicants;
Will have strong subject knowledge in English (educated to degree level)
Have experience working with primary aged pupils
Be committed to raising attainment and increasing progress for all pupils
Have past success and examples where you have raised attainment/grades
Be able to offer fun, engaging booster sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
