Protocol Education are currently working with an outstanding school based in Enfield.
The Headteacher of this 2 form entry primary school is currently looking for a graduate teaching assistant to join their team of staff.
The school has a diverese team of staff and has strong ethos in creating a suporting enviorment for their students and staff.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will:
- help teachers prepare lesson materials
- set up and tidy classrooms for lessons
- work with students to make sure they understand
- watch, record and report the progress students make
- look after children who are upset or unwell
- lead classes with help from the teacher
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be expected to have:
- sensitivity and understanding for building good relationships with children
- excellent verbal communication skills for motivating children to learn
- active listening skills to understand the childrens' needs
- patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- to be flexible and open to change for working on different activities
- to enjoy working with other people
- the ability to teach pupils how to do something
- the ability to create the best conditions for learning or teaching new things
- to be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
