Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the Classroom: Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Student Support: Help individual students or small groups to reinforce learning and foster development.
- Behavior Management: Assist in maintaining a positive and orderly classroom environment.
- Resource Preparation: Help prepare and organize classroom materials.
- Supervision: Oversee students during non-instructional times, such as lunch and playground activities.
- Holistic Development: Support the social and emotional growth of our students.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff to ensure comprehensive support for all students.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Dedication: Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable:
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in education or childcare.
- Special Needs Experience: Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
- Curriculum Knowledge: Familiarity with the National Curriculum.
- First Aid: First aid training is a plus.
