Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the Classroom: Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Student Support: Help individual students or small groups to reinforce learning and foster development.
  • Behavior Management: Assist in maintaining a positive and orderly classroom environment.
  • Resource Preparation: Help prepare and organize classroom materials.
  • Supervision: Oversee students during non-instructional times, such as lunch and playground activities.
  • Holistic Development: Support the social and emotional growth of our students.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff to ensure comprehensive support for all students.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Dedication: Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Desirable:

  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in education or childcare.
  • Special Needs Experience: Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Familiarity with the National Curriculum.
  • First Aid: First aid training is a plus.
