About the Role:
Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Louth. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a pupil’s educational journey, providing tailored support to ensure they thrive in the classroom. You will be working closely with a child who requires additional support to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with specific learning needs.
- Assist in the implementation of individual learning plans, adapting activities to suit the pupil’s abilities and needs.
- Support the pupil in developing independence, confidence, and social skills in the classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN coordinators to ensure the pupil's needs are met.
- Monitor and track progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Encourage a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
- A caring, patient, and understanding approach to supporting children.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Flexibility, reliability, and a strong commitment to making a difference in a child’s education.
