Job Duties:
- Supporting the teacher in managing classroom activities
- Assisting students with special educational needs, including ASC and SEMH
- Helping to create a positive learning environment
- Providing one-to-one support to students when necessary
- Assisting with administrative tasks as required
Required Qualifications:
GCSEs in English and Maths
Education:
- Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
- GCSEs in English and Maths are desirable
Experience:
Previous experience working in a classroom setting is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of special educational needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good organisational skills
Working Conditions:
This role involves working during school hours, term-time only
