Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Spanish/French lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching materials
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Spanish/French or related field
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Spanish/French or related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching Spanish/French preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Fluency in Spanish/French language
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Strong classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. Regular interaction with students, parents, and colleagues is expected.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
