Job Title: Teacher of Social Science (Psychology)

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Social Science with a focus on Psychology
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, exams, and other methods
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Psychology or related field

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience teaching Social Science, specifically Psychology, at secondary level
  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and educational standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students in the learning process

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or Psychology
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs

Working Conditions:

  • Working hours may vary, including potential evenings for parent-teacher meetings
  • Classroom-based teaching with some administrative responsibilities
