Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, provide feedback and support
  • Develop and implement ICT curriculum based on educational guidelines
  • Utilise technology effectively in teaching and learning processes
  • Manage classroom activities, maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in ICT or related field
  • Experience working in a similar role

Education:

Degree in ICT or related field

Experience:

Prior experience working as a Teacher of ICT

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of ICT concepts and applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience using educational technology in teaching

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school environment, following the academic calendar. Full-Time hours are expected, with occasional requirement for extra-curricular activities or parent meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
