Job Duties:

  • Design and deliver engaging and informative history lessons to secondary school students
  • Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans in accordance with educational standards
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support their learning development
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practises and enhance the overall educational experience
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and effectively communicate with parents/guardians

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Degree in History or a related field
  • Experience teaching history at the secondary school level
  • Thorough understanding of the National Curriculum for History
