Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and informative history lessons to secondary school students
  • Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans in accordance with educational standards
  • Assess student progress, provide feedback, and support their learning development
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and effectively communicate with parents/guardians
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practises and enhance the overall educational experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Degree in History or a related field
  • Experience teaching history at the secondary school level
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for History

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students in learning history
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Experience working with diverse student populations
