English Teacher - SEMH School

Protocol Education are working alongside a SEMH and SEN provision in Swindon to appoint exceptional and motivated English teacher. 

Salary: QTS paid to scale

Hours: Full time

Start Date: ASAP

The Role

The school are looking  to appoint a highly effective, passionate and inspirational teacher to join the team.  The successful candidate will understand the challenges facing young people, the SEND code of practice and have a sound subject pedagogy and a proven track record in improving progress and attainment. 

The School

A SEN/SEMH Alternative Provision that caters for a wide range of specific needs for ages 11-16. The school provides an alternative education for children and young people who, at certain times of their lives, may require specific support. This is often when they are encountering personal crisis or need help with their behaviour and are at risk of exclusion from mainstream schooling.

Due to the nature of the role, the school and students, visits to the school are welcomed and encouraged. 

The staff in the school care greatly about the students and provide a nurturing and supportive environment to encourage success and enjoyment in learning.
