Job Title: Design & Technology Teacher

Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, North Yorkshire, Hartlepool

Job Type: Temporary/Full-Time

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons to secondary school students.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to support their learning and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a comprehensive Design & Technology curriculum in line with educational standards.
  • Supervise and support students in practical activities and projects, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and other stakeholders, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Contribute to the school's ethos and development by actively participating in staff meetings and events.

Required Qualifications:

A recognised teaching qualification in Design & Technology.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable, but candidates with extensive experience in the field will also be considered.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Design & Technology or a related field.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
