Job Title: Teacher of Design & Technology

Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, North Yorkshire, Middlesbrough

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback
  • Develop and implement curriculum in line with educational standards
  • Supervise and support students in practical activities and projects
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the overall ethos and development of the school

Required Qualifications:

A recognised teaching qualification in Design & Technology

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Design & Technology or related field

Experience:

Proven experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary school level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the Design & Technology curriculum
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Education

Working Conditions:

This is a temporary position based in Yorkshire and the Humber. The role involves working full-time hours during term time. The teacher will be required to work collaboratively with colleagues and adapt to the school's policies and procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
