We are looking for a passionate and qualified teacher of Design and Technology (Resistant Materials) to join our team. The successful candidate will be capable of teaching across all key stages. This role is suitable for both early career and experienced teachers with a degree in Design and Technology or a related field. While the ability to teach Food and Nutrition to Level 3 BTEC is desirable, it is not essential. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) will be offered three weeks of induction in July.
Our Design and Technology Department provides an exciting KS3 curriculum and is a popular choice at GCSE, with results consistently surpassing the national average. Many students continue to A-Level Product Design, achieving excellent results and progressing to degree-level courses. The department has excelled in national competitions such as the V&A Design Ventura Award and the Bloodhound Challenge.
