Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in Business and Economics
- Assess and evaluate students' progress
- Provide constructive feedback to students to aid their development
- Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practises
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings as required
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Economics or related field
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Education:
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Business and Economics
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the UK curriculum for Business and Economics
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students
- Proficient in using technology for teaching and learning purposes
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Education, Business, Economics or related field
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school environment, following the academic calendar. The teacher may need to work additional hours for lesson planning and grading outside of regular school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
