Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging art lessons to students
  • Develop and implement art curriculum
  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
  • Organise and supervise art projects and exhibitions
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall art programme

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Art or relevant field
  • Experience teaching art to students

  • Strong understanding of art history and techniques
  • Ability to inspire creativity and artistic expression in students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Postgraduate qualification in Art Education
  • Experience in organising art events and workshops

Working Conditions:

The role involves working Full-Time hours on a temporary basis. The teacher will primarily be based in Yorkshire and the Humber, North Yorkshire, Middlesbrough.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
