Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging art lessons to students
  • Develop and implement art curriculum in line with national standards
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Encourage creativity and artistic expression in students
  • Organise and supervise art projects and exhibitions
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Art Education or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Art Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in art education

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of art history and various artistic techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Art Education
  • Experience in organising art exhibitions

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with regular school hours
  • Classroom teaching environment
  • Potential for extracurricular involvement
