Teaching Assistant - ADHD

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ADHD Teaching Assistant to join our team. Your role will be crucial in supporting students with ADHD, helping them to achieve their full potential and thrive within the school environment. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive educational experience.

 

Role: ADHD Support Teaching Assistant

Location: Brighton

Contract: full or part time

Salary: £84-£100 per day

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with ADHD, tailoring assistance to their individual needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Assist in creating a structured and supportive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
  • Support students in developing social skills and managing their behaviour effectively.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

 

About You:

  • Previous experience working with children with ADHD or in a similar role is desirable.
  • Understanding of ADHD and strategies to support students with the condition.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
