Job Duties:

1. Delivering engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular teacher

2. Managing the classroom environment effectively to ensure a productive learning experience

3. Following the school's curriculum and lesson plans

4. Providing feedback to regular teachers on student progress and behaviour

5. Ensuring the safety and well-being of students at all times

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Proven experience in a teaching role

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt to different teaching environments

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience

Knowledge and Skills:

- Thorough understanding of the UK education system

- Excellent classroom management skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficiency in using educational technology

Preferred Qualifications:

- Postgraduate qualification in Education

- Experience teaching in a variety of school settings

Working Conditions:

- Work is primarily conducted in a school setting

- May require travel to different schools within the Brentwood area

- Full-time hours with occasional flexibility required

- Potential for interaction with students of various age groups and abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
